LTD RIDIN - TULSA OKLA.   JUST GOT THROUGH WATCHING THIS NEW VIDEO CALLED "DIPP'N..... IT'S PUT OUT BY THIS BROTHER NAMED JIM BROWN FROM ONE LUV C.C. - LAS VEGAS... AND I'LL TELL YOU WHAT THAT BITCH IS BAD.. IT'S NOT YOUR TYPICAL LOWRIDING VIDEO WITH HOPPING FROM END TO END IT'S A DOCUMENTARY WITH INTERVIEWS WITH SOME REAL O.G.S... THE LATE GARY MAY, LONNIE BOLDEN, BIG HOMIE CHARLES CLAYTON, ERNEST HOUSE, TED WELLS... IT'S BAD FOR SURE... IF YOU IN TO LOWRIDING IN GENERAL THIS IS A MUST HAVE VIDEO... IT'S NUMBER ONE IN A THREE PART SERIES....
VEGAS HOPPER - SIN CITY.  I WAS THERE AT THE RELEASE PARTY HERE IN VEGAS... THAT IS DEFINITELY A GREAT VIDEO AND IT SHOWS LOWRIDING FROM A FRESH PERSPECTIVE THAT HASN'T BEEN SEEN. MUCH PROPS TO THE HOMIE JIM AND HIS CREW FOR PUTTING OUT A GOOD VIDEO!!!
KERMIT THE DOG - BRISTOL CITY, GREAT BRITAIN.  IS THERE ANYWAY TO SHIP ONE TO ENGLAND?  HOWS MY CREDIT, LIOYD?
UFAMEA - 95 SS SWANGIN. ALL RYDERS MUST HAVE THIS, IT'S A BREAKDOWN ABOUT EVERYTHING IN OUR GAME. DON'T SLEEP ON IT, IT'S ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OUT... PEACE!
GIVLIFE - FIVE 1 THREE.   WORTH EVERY PENNY... DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE, PLUS A BIT OF HISTORY... REMEMBER OUR SPORT HAS ROOTS TOO...
ESE VOLO - ANAHEIM, SO. CALIF.   YEP... GOOD VIDEO. SIT-DOWN INTERVIEWS WITH SOME OF THE OG LOWRIDERS, GETTING THEIR PERSPECTIVES ON LOWRIDING YESTERDAY AND TODAY. THEY TALK ABOUT LOWRIDING BACK IN THERE DAY AND HOW THEY USE TO LIFT CARS WITH HYDROS.
TYRONE (BLACK MAN) - WOODRIDGE, ILLIONOIS.  ALL I CAN SAY IS (WIPING TEARS FROM MY EYES)       WOW!  THIS DVD WAS LOOOOOONG PAST DUE!!!   I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. PUT TOGETHER VERY WELL. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE THAT IS TRULY INTO LOWRIDING.

THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL, IS THAT YOU GET THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN VIEW OF OUR LOWRIDING. THIS IS SOMETHING FOR YEARS THAT LRM. HAS DODGED AND PURPOSELY TREATED AS IF IT DOESN'T EXIST. WHAT'S EVEN WORSE IS THAT SOME READERS OF LRM HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED TO BELIEVE SUCH THINGS.

IF LRM (OR ANY LOWRIDER RELATED PUBLICATION) WANT TO BE ON TOP OR #1 THEY NEED TO START PRINTING THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ORGINS OF IT. AND EVERYBODYS CONTRIBUTION TO IT. BECAUSE NO ONE WILL EVER "CORNER-THE-MARKET" ON LOWRIDING. THERE ISN'T NOR WILL THERE EVER BE ANY ONE GROUP THAT DOMINATES IT. IF THERE IS ONE GROUP THAT HAS DOMINATED LOWRIDING IT'S GENERAL MOTORS. WELL OVER 90% OF THE LOWRIDERS BUILT ARE GM PRODUCT. SO, IF ANYONE CREATED LOWRIDING IT WOULD BE (BUICK, CADILLAC, CHEVORLET, OLDSMOBILE, PONTIAC) AND THEIR DESIGNERS THAT CREATED LOWRIDING.

THIS VIDEO PICKS UP WHERE YOUNG HOGG AND CALI SWANGIN LEFT OFF. TELLING OUR (AFRICAN-AMERICANS) STORY IN LOWRIDING. I'M SURE #2 WILL BE JUST AS GOOD (IF NOT BETTER) AFTER  #1, I CAN'T WAIT.     I'LL END THIS WITH THE WORDS OF CHUCK D,  "..HISTORY SHOULDN'T BE A MYSTERY OUR STORYS REAL HISTORY NOT HIS-STORY...,":
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK.

Big Craig - Las Vegas, NV. Just wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoyed the DIP'N video. Good looks to Jim Brown on telling' it like it is. Eses didn't start lowriding, EVERYONE did- I don't care if you're brown, white, black, or fucking magenta! I've heard Jim's name tossed around the LV lowriding scene for a minute now, and I think that DIP'N really cemented his status as one of the premier ride builders and lowriding gurus in the game- period. I can't say I've been doing it as long as he has, but I feel as passionate about the lifestyle as he does. West Coast, East Coast, worldwide and everything in between, this man knows his shit. I built a 64 Impala a few years ago, but sold it when times were tough. I never lost touch with the scene though, and I'm working on a 63 right now. The DIP'N video gave me the inspiration to get the ride done because I miss hittin switches on LV Blvd. When I'm done, I hope to cross paths with the man. O.G.'s like Ernest House, Gary May and Percy, kept it real. Overall the shit was just tight. I did have a few questions though. First, when will the other volumes be finished? Second, will you be advertising in magazines for the future volumes, or doing it another way? Let me know, and know that I'll be picking those joints up! Keep up the good work, and stay ridin' with clean cars and tight videos showing lowriding the way it really is!
Josh Murray - U.S. Soldier (Iraq) I just wanted to let Jim Brown and his production crew know I appreciate the way y'all telling the lowriding history like it should be told. I'm serving in Iraq right now and when I get out I'm going to pursue a career in the lowriding industry. Thanks for inspiring me.
Bean - New York City: What's up Mr Jim Brown, this is Bean (Kenny) from New York City.. I just had to e-mail you and let you know your DVD is a heavy rotation in my dvd player... I watch it all th time. Now I've bought all kinds of lowrider DVD's and tapes and I can honestly say you hit home with this one... I rank it #1 in my book.. I watch it VOL. 1 then the next day I watch VOL. 2... I can't say it enough... you hit home.. in VOL. 2 with John Cantrell from up North, to Dave from the Royals talking about how they feel about lowriding, Man I felt a soft spot.. I knew what they were talking about.. the only thing I don't like is that you are stopping at VOL. 3.. Maybe you should do a VOL. 4... I was at my buddy Marvins house Sunday night and we watched VOL. 2 and talked about the whole DVD... It's a classic in my book...

Jason - CITY N/A: Just wanted to thank you for the Dip'n series of DVD's. I own many, many lowrider DVD's all the way back to Young Hogg VOL. 1 and everything that came after it... and I consider my Dip'n DVD's to be the "crown jewel" of my collection. I feel that you have made a major contribution to the game with Dip'n.

I can tell that you do this from the heart and for the love of the game, and arent in it for the money like some of these  other video makers that have never even had a lowrider in their garage. Hopefully!  I'll get a chance to kick it with you sometime when I come to Vegas and talk about the following game.Just wanted to thank you for the Dip'n series of DVD's. ROB & DIANA - CANADA: Hey Jim

My name is Diana.  I ordered dipn 2 & 3 from you, and they just arrived yesterday.  I just want to share a little bit of our lives with you, if you have the time to read.. please do....

My Fiance was so happy to see the dvds, and popped them in the DVD player one after the other as soon as I gave them to him.
I was amazed that as the video went on, he knew most of the lowriders (the people and cars) by names, and history on them.  He has been an obsessed lowrider fan for years.  He knew quite a bit about you too.. (living in Ontario, Canada, Im sure you wouldnt expect that)

When the dvds were done, he hugged me and thanked me for giving him the best birthday present EVER...

The reason why I am writing is to thank you for putting these dvd's together and also let you know that you have gained a new Lowrider fan - ME..

His birthday is tomorrow, April 13th.  I know that you must be a very busy guy, but I was hoping that you could take some time out of your day to give Rob a quick phonecall to wish him a happy birthday, and encourage him to pursue his Lowriding dreams.
He had a 1989 Cadillac Braugham.. it was amazing.. we both loved cruising and working on the car.
When the winter arrived, Rob & his group of lowrider buddies put their cars in the garage they rented for restoration and hydraulic work, and Rob took apart the whole front end preparing for a motor swap.
We ended up moving away from our hometown where he and his friends had this garage for employment reasons, and both of our cars ended up going to the wreckers, and got crushed...  He has been really upset ever since, and we have had way too many bills to buy another cadillac.
He is looking to buy one very soon so we can get back into the groove and away from the everyday stresses of life.

Rob is one of the very few comitted Black lowriders in our community.  It was a great inspiration to see how many are out there in Cali.

If you have any copies of Dipn 1, could you please let us know??

Hoping to hear from you tomorrow, or sometime in the near future

Sincerely,

Diana

Your DVD's were off the Chain homie and LOOong Overdue. It was cool the way
you got into some of the history of the Game.
I have a few issues homie.
1)How come you didn't get to San Jose where Lowrider magazine started, and
Lowriding has roots deep. Instead you hit Sacramento?
2)Part 3 was good, BUT INCOMPLEATE,It needed more!I think a 4th and Final
DVD is needed to put the icing on the Cake homie.
Controversy is Good, it means people are paying attention. I think your
videos helped open alot of eyes, especially those not Living out here in the
West.
Keep up the good work homie.I really hope you come out with at least one
more Video.

california.
Now i own a couple of Martial Arts schools and i have a TV show here in Waco Tx
- And im bringing back my 63impala to show the kids what we use to do.
And believe me DIP'N will be playin in that car every minute that its out on the
boulevard.
